Representative Democracy is supposed to be a contract between the elected and the voters in which voters elect their representatives based on the policies ideas of the candidate.. However, Ghana is witnessing a system whereby voters are enticed with money and material things to lure them to vote for leaders as was witnessed in several videos on social media in the just ended Kumawu bye- election.
